Satin-finished and impossibly slim. A good go-anywhere, travel, post-apocalyptic kind of camera.

The Canon Demi had been on my list for years but since it seemed to overlap so much with my Pen EEs I never had much incentive. All the wonderful images coming in from HFC members changed my mind. I found one on eBay for a reasonable price and pulled the trigger.
When it arrived I was immediately impressed by the satin finish and slim form factor. Taller and longer than a Pen EE but much slimmer — it goes into a pocket easier than almost anything else I own. My copy had a broken meter but works great in fully manual mode. I left the zone focus at the three-person mark and the shutter/aperture at roughly f/8 and 1/100. Just kept it in my pocket, pulled it out, shot near silently, stuffed it back. A good go anywhere, post-apocalyptic kind of camera.
I shot Kosmo 100 on a road trip through Baja Norte. The grain and softness combined with the half frame format made for rugged, ethereal images. Image quality seems on par with the Pen EE series, horizons straight and rarely an alignment issue.
